The Apostolic Succession of any Catholic Church is of utmost importance. The lineage of the Church, through its Bishops extends in a unbroken line, back through the centuries to the Apostles and our Lord Jesus Christ Himself thus: bestowing the authority and power of the Church.    

It is not usual to trace back through the lineage of the Papacy or the Patriarchy, however, in this case it is thought wise to go the extra step and show the connections with both the Eastern and Western Churches, and to demonstrate both lines back to Jesus Christ our Lord.
